Results of Territorial Fruits and Vegetables Trade Fair in Andijan

During the Territorial Fruits and Vegetables Trade Fair, which was held in Andijan, between farms and enterprises-exporters were signed contracts for the supply of 660,000 tons of products.

For the past period of this year, from Andijan region were exported fruits and vegetables for an amount almost 84 million dollars. Currently, there are 49 enterprises-exporters in the region. This year, they have signed 111 contracts for the export of 664 thousand tons of agricultural products to 548 million dollars.

According to the program of measures to further strengthen and develop the material-technical base of the storage of fruits and vegetables in the years 2016-2020, this year in the region is scheduled 36 projects for the implementation. Currently, there are involved cold stores with a total capacity of 24 thousand tons.
