A road bridge collapsed in Urgench

On the night of November 1, the automobile bridge collapsed at the “Urgench-Cholish” highway, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

According to the source, the bridge connecting Khorezm region with Beruni district of Karakalpakstan wrecked because of the heavy load. It fell over after a heavy truck crossed the bridge. The vehicle managed to pass over it, no one was hurt.

Now the passage over the bridge is closed, repairing works are underway.
