Tashkent to host Western Asia Youth Chess Championship

Western Asia Youth Chess Championship 2018 will be held in Tashkent on November 16-23, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
This championship is the official tournament of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and is held with the support of the Asian Chess Federation. The panel of judges will include experienced arbitrators from various countries of West Asia.
300 chess players from 11 countries — India, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Uzbekistan — applied for participation.
The strongest young Asian chess players will compete in the championship in classical chess, rapid chess and blitz. Winners will receive international chess titles - international grandmaster, international master and master of FIDE.
In the tournament, Uzbekistan will be represented by such young players as Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Humoyun Begmuratov, Nodirbek Yakubboyev, Abdimalik Abdisalimov, Afruz Khamdamov, Bakhor Abdusattorova, Ortik Nigmatov, Umida Omonova and Almas Rakhmatullaev.
