“Ural Airlines” to resume Volgograd-Tashkent-Volgograd flights in December
“Ural Airlines” will restart flights from Volgograd to Tashkent in December, TASS quoted from the interview with the general director of Volgograd airport Sergei Dmitriyev.
“The flights will be performed on Airbus A320 of “Ural Airlines” twice a week,” Mr. Dmitriyev said.
According to him, Volgograd airport is one of the nearest Russian regions in the south-east directions.
“Our passenger traffic will be interesting, we are talking about the flying group of labor migrants. Now, Volgograd airport will be the entry for them. Currently, they use road or railway transportation, it is long and insecure. But people trusted us and we decided to launch these directions,” the general director of the airport noted.
Flights from Volgograd to Tashkent were launched in 2015 but then they were stopped.
This year, “Ural Airlines” have already resumed flights in the directions Moscow - Karshi, St. Petersburg - Urgench, St. Petersburg - Bukhara, St. Petersburg - Fergana, Yekaterinburg - Samarkand and Sochi - Tashkent.
