Uzbek citizen in Russia was sentenced to 9 years in prison for trading with heroin
Bryansk city court found guilty an Uzbek citizen who was detained in January with a kilogram of heroin.
According to local media, the woman was accused of attempting to sell drugs illegally. She was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
“The court confirmed that a citizen of Uzbekistan arrived in Bryansk in mid-January to sell drugs,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Bryansk region said. “The criminal was detained on the same day by drug control officers. More than a kilogram of heroin was found in the apartment that she rented in Bryansk.”
