In Namangan region, production of devices which prevent accidents related to gas poisoning has been launched, “Xalk suzi” reports.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations organized a press conference devoted to the issues of heating systems and fuel supplies to ensure compliance with safety requirements and prevent possible emergency situations during autumn-winter season.
The officials, during the meeting, provided detailed information on the advantages of the new device.
“This device has been put into operation in Namangan region. It has many advantages over prevention of toxic gas poisoning and fire.” said Khusanboy Yunusov, director of the LLC. “For example, it will be installed on a private heating system. If methane, propane and other gases emit in the house for some reason, the device will start working - it detects and gives out a warning signal.”
If there is gas emanation in the house in the absence of residents, the unit automatically switches off gas from the system. The device is charged by an electrical connection. Therefore, it holds the reserve of electrical power. This allows the mechanism to function 24 hours a day, even if the electrical power is disconnected.
According to experts, about a thousand units have been manufactured at the moment and 20 were installed at the Department of Internal Affairs in Tashkent city. In future, it was pointed out that the instrument should be used in residential buildings as well. Average price of the device is about 195,000 sums.
