Bashkortostan-Uzbekistan foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 51.3 million  

 A delegation of Fergana region of Uzbekistan will pay an official visit to Ufa in order to develop trade-economic cooperation and cultural ties. The Uzbek delegation headed by the khokim of Fergana region Shukhrat Ganiyev will include representatives of government bodies and business entities.  
 
As part of the program, meetings with the leadership of Bashkortostan, the Republican Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visits to trade enterprises in Ufa are planned. Also, guests will be demonstrated economic potential of the region and talks between business representatives will be held.  
 
Meanwhile, the foreign trade turnover between Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan in the first nine months of 2018 is higher by 16% compared to the previous year. Export exceeded $ 48 million and import - $ 3 million. Products from the chemical industry, metals and metallic products, wood, glass, food products, as well as raw materials are being exported from Bashkortostan to Uzbekistan.
