Kazakh “Kolesa” Group enters the Uzbek market to develop e-commerce
Kazakhstan’s Kolesa Group enters the market of Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to Forbes Kazakhstan.
The company launches in the country a platform for placing ads on the sale of cars, special equipment and spare parts in Russian and Uzbek languages, which allows to link the seller and the buyer online.
“Uzbekistan is attractive for us, because today e-commerce is actively developing here. The emergence of services and sites of various directions contributes to development of the IT market. The launch of the site Avtoelon.uz is our first step in the Uzbek market. A lot of interesting projects are planned ahead,” director of the limited liability partnership (LLP) “Kolesa” Nikolay Babeshkin said.
The LLP “Kolesa” occupies the 13th place in the ranking of Forbes Kazakhstan “25 largest online trading platforms - 2018”. The company’s revenue for 2017 was $ 13 million. Average monthly attendance – 20,904,318.
It should be noted that there are three sites under the control of the LLP “Kolesa”. In 2006, Kolesa.kz and Krisha.kz appeared. In 2014, the site for free ads Market.kz was developed. In the same year, the investment foundation Baring Vostok invested $ 15 million in the LLP “Kolesa”.
