Abdulaziz Kamilov receives the newly appointed ambassador of Kyrgyzstan
On December 20, 2018, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Ibragim Junusov, the press service of the Ministry reported.
After a short ceremony of presenting a copy of credentials, a conversation was held on key issues of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations.
The sides noted with satisfaction the multifaceted and dynamic nature of bilateral relations, in which central contacts are held at the highest level.
As noted, trade and economic, investment and interregional relations, based on respect for each other’s interests and mutual benefit, occupy an important place in the interstate dialogue.
The successful results of the second meeting of the Council of heads of Uzbek-Kyrgyz border provinces in Osh city and the concrete agreements reached indicate that the parties have considerable potential for expanding cooperation.
