Bird’s-eye view of the parade held in Andijan

The 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Motherland were celebrated in Andijan on 14 January. 

More than 40,000 people participated in the events held in honor of the day.

The solemn parade was organized by representatives of divisions of Andijan Military Garrison at the Sharof Rashidov, Amir Temur and Alisher Navoi streets in the city center. Representatives of the Internal Affairs, National Guard, Emergency Situations, “Vatanparvar” organization, enterprises and other state bodies operating in the region took part in the event.

The demonstration was held at the square in front of the regional khokimiyat.

In the park, young people got acquainted with the military equipment.
