Modern customs terminals to be equipped with advanced technologies  

At the State Customs Committee, a meeting was held with the leadership of the US company “Witt Security Solutions”. It is specialized in the supply of modern scanning equipment under the brand “Astrophysics”. 

 
It should be noted that in accordance with the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to develop the customs administration and improve the effectiveness of the activities of the State Customs Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated November 24, 2018, it is planned to build modern customs terminals at the border crossing points “Yallama” and “S. Najimov” (Tashkent region), “Dustlik” (Andijan region), “Olot” (Bukhara region), “Daut-Ota” (Republic of Karakalpakstan), “Madaniyat” (Andijan region), “Uzbekistan” (Ferghana region), “Gishtkprik” and “Oybek” (Tashkent region) in 2019-2021. 

Therefore, representatives of the company offered their most advanced products for the purpose of equipping customs terminals. 
 
At the meeting, importance of studying and mastering the US experience in equipping customs terminals in the country with advanced technologies in the field of control and security, in particular large-scale scanners was noted. 
 
Particularly, there were presentations on the experience and products of the companies “Witt Security Solutions” and “Astrophysics”. 
 
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their willingness to study the issues raised and co-op proposals.
