Mothers with disabled children will receive social benefits even if they don’t have the required length of service for retirement

In Uzbekistan, mothers with disabled children who do not have the required length of service for retirement will receive benefits, Kun.uz correspondent reports with reference to the presidential decree.

“From March 1, 2019, mothers who have children with disabilities from birth are paid social benefits when they reach retirement age even if they do not have the required length of service for a pension,” the document says.

The President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to adopt a government decision by the end of February, determining the amount and procedure for the payment of social benefits.
