Tashkent to host the 2019 Asian Road Cycling Championships in April
The Asian Road Cycling Championships 2019 will be held in Tashkent and the Tashkent region from April 22 to April 28. The organization of the upcoming sporting event was discussed in the capital's administration.
“On January 24, 2019, negotiations were held in the administration building with experts from Switzerland and Germany on organizing the Asian Road Cycling Championships for men, women, juniors and the disabled,” the press service of the city administration reported.
The first day of the competition is planned to be held in Gazalkent, and the remaining days will be organized on the way from International Hotel Tashkent to Charvak reservoir.
It is expected that 600 cyclists from 40 countries will take part in the championships. Foreign journalists will come to the republic to cover the event, including the Eurosport channel.
