Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $481 million
The trade between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan increased by 189.6% and amounted to $481 million in January 2019, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Komil Rashidov said.

According to him, exports amounted to $348.2 million and imports – $132.8 million.
“The share of Kyrgyzstan in the foreign trade turnover of our republic is 1.4%. Kyrgyzstan is among the top 20 countries with the largest share in the trade turnover of Uzbekistan: 6th place in exports, 20th place in imports. Our countries have great potential and reserves to increase bilateral trade to $500 million in the very near future,” he said.
In addition, Rashidov noted that the work is being continued on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border line in the sections that remained outside the framework of the agreement signed on September 5, 2017.
