Uzbekistan is represented at EMITT 2019 in Istanbul  

 Uzbekistan is represented at the largest Exhibition EMITT 2019 (East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel) in Istanbul. The event is among the top five tourist exhibitions worldwide and annually attracts over 50,000 professionals in this field. 
 
The national stand of Uzbekistan is presented in the pavilion of the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center Istanbul. It is organized by the State Committee for Development of Tourism in cooperation with the national airline company Uzbekistan Airways and travel agencies of the country. 

 
The ceremonial opening of the exhibition was attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Mekhmet Nuri Ersoy, who noted the importance of tourism activities. “The EMITT allows to meet new partners, learn more about the latest news and trends in the field of tourism, study the direction of the market,” Mr. Ersoy stressed.  

As part of the event, an EMITT Forum was held by the organizers. Issues of the global and regional tourism industry were discussed during the forum. In the course of a four-day program of the exhibition, it is scheduled to conduct panel sessions and B2B meetings among participants of the event.
