Ravon share in the Russian market drops to 0%
According to data of the Association of European Businesses, Ravon has not been selling cars in Russia for eight months in a row.
In January 2019, the company did not sell a single car, because they are still not for sale.
The company's market share fell to 0%, while in 2018 it was 0,3%, and in 2017 – 0,9%.
The decrease is due to the fact that the last time in Russia, Ravon sold cars in May 2018. Then they disappeared from most of the Russian dealerships.
For comparison: in January 2018, Ravon sold almost 1500 cars, which allowed it to occupy 1,4% of the market.
Uzbekistan stopped exporting cars in mid-2018. At the end of the year, the JSC Uzavtosanoat reported that they had sent one batch of vehicles to study conditions of foreign markets. But, apparently, they had not yet gone for sale.
A month earlier, it became known that Uzbekistan stopped selling cars abroad at low prices.
Previously, it was reported that in 2018, exports of automobiles and parts amounted to $25,5 million. In 2019, it is planned to increase this figure up to $118,6 million.
