UFA punishes ex-coach of FC Navbakhor
Discipline committee of the Uzbekistan Football Association fined the former head coach of the football club Navbakhor Ilkhom Muminjonov 50 million soums and imposed a ban on engaging in football activities for 5 years. UFA website reports about it.
In accordance with the decision of the UFA discipline committee dated February 20, 2019, the UFA department for controlling football activities was tasked to investigate involvement of the former Navbakhor coach Ilhom Muminjonov in the “agreed games”.
The UFA department for controlling football activities assessed legitimately the case of Ilkhom Muminjonov. Several documents and evidence were identified and submitted to the discipline committee of the UFA for consideration.
During the final meeting on April 1, the UFA discipline committee studied the evidence submitted and decided to fine the former head coach of the FC Navbakhor Ilkhom Muminjonov 50 million soums, in accordance with the Paragraph 5.44 of UFA discipline Code, for his attempt to influence the outcome of the match by urging several players to sell the game. Also, taking into account the decision of the UFA discipline committee of February 2, 2019, he has been banned to be involved in any football-related activity for a period of 5 years.
In addition, all players, coaches and specialists involved in football have been warned that the UFA will continue to take action in the manner against such fraudulent cases.
