Foreign Minister of Tajikistan draws attention of EU countries to energy resources of Central Asian nations
Sirojiddin Aslov, Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, in a statement delivered at the High Level Conference to mark the adoption of the new EU Strategy for Central Asia “Connectivity for sustainable development” organized in Bucharest, drew the attention of the EU countries to energy resources of Central Asian nations, Asia-Plus reported.
FM of Tajikistan, in particular, noted the necessity of continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries of the Central Asian region and the European Union for the purpose of further developing the Central Asian transportation system, agricultural and energy potential as well as improvement of investment climate and ensuring sustainable development of the region.
The event was organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania in cooperation with European External Action Service.
