Tashkent city administration to pay a company 2.7 billion soums of compensation for land plot withdrawals for "state needs"
Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Uzbekistan helped the LLC "Universal plast montaj enginering" to recover 2.7 billion soums from the Tashkent city administration.
According to the press service of the chamber, employees of the LLC "Universal plast montaj enginering" appealed to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with a request to assist in protecting legal rights and interests of the company for a private property and preserving the building of the TM "TUMARIS" confectionery factory, which they tried to demolish as an illegal construction.
For nine months, the aforementioned company jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry repeatedly applied to state and responsible authorities with various inquiries.
On March 20 of this year, the Tashkent inter-district economic court issued a decision in which it satisfied the claims to recover from the defendant (Tashkent city administration) a compensation in the amount of 2,759,055,981 soums in connection with the seizure of land for state and public needs.
