Tashkent to host Blockchain Summit on May 6
On May 6, at the Republican High school of business and management named after Abu Rayhan Beruni under the National Agency for Project Management will host the summit “Blockchain in Uzbekistan: Perspectives of the digital economy” which is organized jointly with the International Westminster University in Tashkent, the NAPM press service reports.
Within the framework of the summit, blockchain leaders and innovators will talk about fundamental elements of the digital economy that affect competitiveness of many sectors, including finance, supply chain, telecommunications, government, social goods, transport and energy.
Summit participants will learn about the internal operations of a new generation of technology, which is changing the way how transactions should be carried out in the modern economy, as well as promising examples of their use from around the world.
During the summit, the following topics will be discussed:
-The role of blockchain in achieving market reforms, development goals and economic competitiveness.
-Digital assets: investment, trading and cryptoactive assets exchange.
-Blockchain: the evolution of digital information networks.
-Blockchain in the supply chain, telecommunications and energy saving.
-Consumer goods and services in the state sector.
There are Joseph Gardner (co-founder of blossom LLC), Carlos Herrera Parra (founder of Overblock.io), Dang Du (blockchain-researcher), Lindsay Joo (blockchain-investor) and many others among speakers.
