Bodies of Uzbek citizens who died in a road accident in Kazakhstan taken back to Uzbekistan
The bodies of three citizens of Uzbekistan, who died in an accident in Kazakhstan, were delivered home on Monday. This is reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
After completing the procedure of identification by relatives and registration of all documents by the staff of the Consulate General in Almaty, the bodies of Uzbek citizens U. Abduhalikov, A. Kalmuratov, D. Ermekbayeva, were delivered to Uzbekistan accompanied by relatives on cars through the checkpoint “Zhibek Zholy” – “Gisht Kuprick”.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, an accident involving a bus in the Korday district of the Jambyl region occurred on April 20. 11 people were killed, including eight citizens of Kazakhstan and three citizens of Uzbekistan, another 29 suffered.
On Sunday, the Emergencies Ministry plane delivered to Uzbekistan nine people injured in the accident.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered to create a government commission to assist victims of the road accident and deliver the bodies of the deceased to their homeland.
