25-kilometer-long marathon of retro cars and motorcycles to be held in Tashkent
On the initiative of the Defense Ministry of Uzbekistan, on May 5, a 25-kilometer-long marathon of retro cars and motorcycles will be held in Tashkent in cooperation with the Retro Uz Club.
The marathon is organized in honor of May 9 - Memory and Honor Day.
“In this regard, on May 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., traffic will be restricted on some streets of Tashkent. We apologize for these inconveniences,” the press service of the department notes.
The event starts at 11:00 a.m. near the main gate of the Academy of the Armed Forces (landmark: the former Pushkin Square) and will pass along the Small Ring Road through Bunyodkor Avenue and Alisher Navoi Street.
