President visits Khanabad sanatorium in Andijan region

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Khanabad sanatorium, construction of which has begun after his visit in June 2017. Then the head of state ordered to improve the territory of the health resort and create necessary conditions for the rest of the population.

Last year, a modern sanatorium with 180 beds was commissioned here. The sanatorium, located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level, is specialized in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract, nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Services have been established using mineral baths, physiotherapy, electrophoresis, galvanization, acupuncture, dentistry, cosmetology and halotherapy.

The head of state got acquainted with conditions in the dispensary. He noted that it is necessary to organize guest houses of lightweight structures. This will reduce the cost and increase the availability of services, provide more people with jobs.
