German Roland Berger to develop a strategy on constructing roads in Uzbekistan for €2.6 million
The Committee for Roads under the Ministry of Transport and the German company Roland Berger signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of a road construction strategy, follows from the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of May 22. A preliminary agreement on this was reached in November 2018 following the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany.
The cost of the company's services is approximately €2.6 million.
A contract for the provision of consulting services with a development period of no more than 120 days from the date of the technical assignment will be inked with the company.
The Committee is responsible for implementation of the strategy development. The Ministry of Finance was entrusted with allocating funds from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers to pay for services for the work performed.
