Public transport in Tashkent to run from 4 am on Ramadan Khayit
Tomorrow, June 5, in Tashkent, in connection with the celebration of Ramadan Khayit, public transport will run starting from 4 am.
“On June 5, 2019, in honor of the Ramadan Khayit holiday, public transport routes will work like on weekdays and start moving at 04:00 (2.5 hours earlier than weekends),” the JSC “Toshshakhartranskhizmat” reported.
According to the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the Eid-al-Fitr prayer will be performed at 5:10 am.
It should be recalled that recently Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the celebration of Ramadan Khayit. According to the document, this day is marked in the country as a public holiday.
