From July 1, 50 and 100-soum coins and paper bills of the same denomination are withdrawn from circulation.

Also in July 2020, 200 and 500-soum notes will be withdrawn from circulation.

“50 and 100-soum notes will be in circulation until July 1, 2019. 200 and 500-soum notes will be accepted until July 1, 2020, and then will be withdrawn from circulation.

Old-style coins and banknotes can be exchanged in banks for new coins from the day they are issued. 200 and 500-soum banknotes can be exchanged in banks from July 1, 2019,” said the Central Bank then.
