Malaysian Hadid Engineering to introduce high-speed Wi-Fi in Khiva
The Malaysian company Hadid Engineering will be engaged in the implementation of a project envisaging provision of high-speed Internet in Khiva, the MFA press service reports.
Recently, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov held talks with the Chairman of the Board of Hadid Engineering, Sohpian Ariffin. At the meeting, the issues of a pilot investment project for the introduction of high-speed wireless Internet in Khiva were discussed.
It became known that in January of this year, Hadid Engineering established the company Hadid Kazana in Tashkent. It is expected that the company's investment projects will be in the field of telecommunication services. Malaysia's largest Internet provider TM Global will become a business partner.
Following the talks, the parties agreed that on September 16, the company's representative office will be opened in the Khorezm region. In addition to high-speed Wi-Fi in Khiva, the company is also expected to launch similar projects in other regions of Uzbekistan. The work will be financed through direct investment of Hadid Engineering.
