Ajlan & Bros plans to create cotton-textile cluster in Uzbekistan
The O'zto'qimachiliksanoat association leadership held talks with the delegation of Ajlan & Bros Holding Group (Saudi Arabia), led by the deputy chairman of the company Sheikh Mohammed Abdul Aziz Al Ajlan.
Ajlan & Bros, founded in 1979, is one of the leading international manufacturers of finished textile products. Holding Group with a total capital of $2.2 billion cooperates with more than 10 global brands (Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin, Puma, Nike, Adidas, Reebok and others). The number of employees of the company exceeds 9,000 people.
It should be noted that in January of this year, the Saudi Arabian company held talks at the O'zto'qimachiliksanoat association and discussed participation in joint investment projects.
During the meeting, the guests were acquainted with the current potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the textile industry, as well as the provision of benefits and preferences from the government.
The company plans to create a cotton-textile cluster on a total area of 38,000 hectares land. The project is planned to be implemented in 5 years.
