Electric cars to be manufactured in Khanabad

Production of electric cars will be established in Khanabad, Andijan region. This is defined in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures to develop the industrial capacity of the Andijan region in 2019-2022”.

In accordance with the list of industrial projects in the Andijan region for 2019-2022, the production of electric cars will be launched in Khanabad.

The initiator of the project is the LLC “Oltin yer himoya”, the project cost is 1000,0 million soums and this amount will be attracted from the personal funds of the enterprise.

It is noted in the document that as a result of the project implementation, 10 new jobs will be created. The plant will be commissioned in July 2021 and the local government will be responsible for its execution.

In addition, a project to expand the production of plastic spare parts for cars in the city of Khanabad will be implemented. The project, initiated by the LLC Plast Detal Tech, costs 600,0 million soums. Commissioning date – December 2019.
