Tariffs for tinting car windows significantly reduced

On August 2, the Government of Uzbekistan adopted a decree on reducing the rate for tinting car windows, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
The light transmission level is set as follows:
- Rear window - up to 100%;
- Passenger side window - up to 100%;
- Driver side window - up to 50%;
- Front windshield with acceptable tinted tape with a diameter of 14 cm - 100%.
No special permission is required for tinting the rear and frontal (strip 14 cm) glasses.
New prices for tinted passenger side windows:
- Cars of individuals and legal entities - 10 MPL (2,230,000 soums);
- Cars of foreign organizations - 20 MPL (4,460,000 soums).
Tinting of all side windows of the car:
- Cars of individuals and legal entities - 50 MPL (11,150,000 soums);
- Cars of foreign organizations - 80 MPL (17,840,000 soums).
For tourist buses, a single rate is set at 50 MPL (11,150,000 soums).
A tinting permit is issued for a period of 1 year.
