Several streets adjacent to mosques to be closed for traffic in Tashkent on August 11
A number of streets adjacent to mosques will be closed in Tashkent for traffic on Sunday, August 11, on the day of Kurban Khayit holiday. This was reported by the capital's police department.
“We inform that in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Adha, during the period from 00:00 to 8:00 on August 11, roads adjacent to mosques within a radius of 1 kilometer will be closed for traffic,” the statement said.
The Central Internal Affairs Directorate asks residents of the capital to comply with the parking rules, and if possible, to use the services of urban public transportation.
