Roads near schools become safer for children in Tashkent
In Tashkent, all road markings near schools have been modernized and new road signs were installed, the police department said.
Employees of the Traffic Safety Department and the Center for Traffic Management under the administration of Tashkent introduced these changes on the eve of the start of new academic year in order to ensure the safety of pupils.
“Today, near the schools No.74, 283, 44, 229, 129, 62, 123, 193, 287, the “Pedestrian crossing” road markings have been updated, road signs with a maximum speed limit and “Caution, children!” have been installed,” the message reads.
It should be recalled that in early July in Tashkent, testing of new paint for road markings began.
