Uzbekistan, Jordan to strengthen trade-economic relations
On September 3, 2019, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan Saleh Ahmad Al-Jawarneh, the MFA press service said.
During the conversation, the parties conducted a thorough review of the entire agenda of Uzbek-Jordanian relations.
It was noted that favorable conditions have been created to boost bilateral cooperation in trade-economic, tourism, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The upcoming first round of inter-MFA political consultations in Amman, as emphasized, will help determine the most promising areas of cooperation in order to concentrate joint efforts on their implementation.
The sides also exchanged views on specific proposals for further institutionalization of the Uzbek-Jordanian dialogue.
