New Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia appointed

On October 7, 2019, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Latvia Kadambay Sultanov left Tashkent for Riga.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Sultanov previously worked as the Counselor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA.
Former Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia was Afzal Artikov.
