Minister of Energy sacks head of Mubarek oil and gas production department, strongly warns deputy chairman of Uzbekneftegaz

Head of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department Bekzod Narziyev has been relieved of his post for failing to meet the tasks set, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz reports.

On October 28, 2019, a meeting was held at the Uzbekneftegaz building in Karshi, with participation of the advisor to the PM of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Energy Alisher Sultanov.

At the meeting, implementation of the forecast indicators of production of oil products, natural and liquefied gas and their delivery to industries and population was analyzed.

Following the meeting, appropriate measures were identified on the discussed issues.

Reportedly, Bekzod Narziyev, head of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, was relieved of his post for failing to meet the set objectives. R. Sherov has been appointed Head of the Hydrocarbon Production Department.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz for Production Alisher Mustafoyev and head of the Ustyurt Gas Production Department O. Urinboyev have been strictly warned for the shortcomings in the work.

Head of the “Gazli” Gas and Oil Production Department under Uzbekneftegaz K. Omonov was instructed to increase production rates by the end of the year.
