Uzbekistan increases car production

The State Statistics Committee provided information on the production volume of certain types of industrial products by large industrial enterprises during January-October 2019.

In particular, the production of automobiles increased by 41.8%. In the same period of 2018, 154,381 cars were produced, and in 2019 – 218,912 units.

Production of trucks increased by 31.8%. In 2018 – 3,390 units, and in 2019 – 4,440 units.

Also, production of automobile engines increased by 43.3%. In 2018, 115.3 engines were produced, and in 2019 – 165.3 units.

In January-October 2019, production of tractors accounted for 1,194 units (in 2018 – 2,710 units).
