Two citizens of Uzbekistan killed in a fire in Russia
The number of people killed in a fire at a dormitory of a logging enterprise in the Irkutsk region of Russia has reached two. They are citizens of Uzbekistan, the head of the municipality Valeriy Ornoev said, TASS reports.
Earlier six people were reported injured and one dead.
According to Ornoev, the hostel building was not registered as a property. It belonged to Briz LLC.
The fire occurred on Wednesday night in a hostel on an area of 350 square meters, where 15 people lived.
Six people were injured in the incident. Five of them are in hospital, one is in critical condition, the regional health department told TASS.
