Uzneftegazinspeksiya identifies illegal use of gas worth more than 4 billion soums

On December 10-19, Uzneftegazinspeksiya conducted regular inspections, during which illegal use of natural gas was discovered. 

According to preliminary estimates, the damage to the gas supply organization amounted to 4 billion 48 million soums, the company said.

In particular, in Navoi region, the fact of illegal use of gas – 259.2 thousand cubic meters (worth more than 259.2 million soums) in the lime production, was revealed. 

In the Yukorichirchik district (Tashkent region) 527.6 thousand cubic meters of natural gas was misappropriated in the building materials production workshop owned by Ekhson Maybod Manufacturing Group LLC. The damage amounted to 527.6 million soums. 

Since the beginning of the year, more than 3,800 cases of illegal consumption of natural gas have been identified, which caused damage in the amount of 71 billion 310 million soums. Relevant documents on violations were transferred to law enforcement bodies for further consideration.
