Namangan to be allocated around 1 trillion soums from the state budget in 2020
In mid-December, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”.
In accordance with the law, inter-budget transfers allocated from the republican budget to local budgets of the regions have been approved. Nine regions with low profit will receive extra money to cover their expenses.
Namangan is at the top of the list – receiving 977.7 billion soums. Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions will be allocated 839.1 billion and 758.1 billion soums, respectively.
The smallest amount will be allotted to Fergana (351.9), Syrdarya (343.9 billion) and Samarkand (321.8) regions.
Expenses do not exceed only in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Navoi and Tashkent regions. A similar situation has been recorded in the city of Tashkent.
