Uzbekistan, Tajikistan discuss demarcation of the state border
The first meeting of the joint Uzbek-Tajik demarcation commission was held on January 7 in Tashkent, the Foreign Ministry press service reports.
During the negotiations, the parties noted a high level of bilateral relations, which are supported by strategic partnership.
The meeting approved regulatory and technical documents that will serve as the foundation for further demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik state border. A schedule of meetings for 2020 was also agreed.
Following the results of the event, a corresponding protocol was signed.
