Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan discuss agenda of joint events for 2020
On January 10, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Yazguly Mamedov, the MFA press service reported.
At the meeting, the implementation of the agreements reached during regular contacts between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow was considered, Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan relations in 2019 were summed up.
The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic nature of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communications, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other fields, and confirmed their interest in further developing cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The sides also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of joint events for 2020 at the highest and other levels.
