Lada sales more than doubled in Uzbekistan last year

Lada sales abroad in 2019 increased to about 50 thousand cars. This is 32 percent more than in 2018, Vedomosti writes.

The largest export markets of Lada are Belarus (16 thousand cars), Kazakhstan (15 thousand) and Uzbekistan (6.6 thousand). In 2018, 2.6 thousand cars were sold in the republic.

In 2019, 362,356 Lada cars were sold in Russia, which is 0.6 percent more than a year earlier.

According to AvtoVAZ, Lada Granta became the best-selling model of the company in 2019 - 135,831 units were sold in Russia (an increase of 27.8 percent).
