Special commission reveals reasons of the tragedy on Yunusabad metro line
The special commission which studied the incident on the Yunusabad metro line published its findings.
It should be recalled that on December 18, during the construction of the Yunusabad metro line, a landslide occurred. Later, from the rubble at the construction site, the corpses of 6 people were dug out.
According to the results of the study, it became known that the cause of the incident was “not following safety rules during the construction”. The walls of the erected facility was not of proper standard. In addition, as a result of the heavy rainfall on that day, the ground became soft and caused the incident.
It is noted that 261 million soums were allocated to the families of four deceased. Another family received 281 million soums.
The commission noted that family members with disabilities of the deceased would receive monthly compensation.
