Deputies to increase fines for violating wedding ceremony order
On February 24, the deputies of the Legislative Chamber reviewed the draft law concerning the introduction of a fine for violating the rules of holding wedding events and other family celebrations.
According to MP Rasul Kusherbayev, the Administrative Responsibility Code will be supplemented by Article 192-1 “Violation of the procedure for organizing weddings, family celebrations, memorial ceremonies, and other events.”
According to the article, for violation of the established rules, a fine of 10 base calculating amount (BCA) will be imposed on the people conducting these events.
Currently, the base calculating amount is 223 thousand soums.
In addition, non-compliance with the order by officials of wedding halls, restaurants and cafes will become a reason for imposing a fine of 30 BCA. Repeating the violation within a year after the application of administrative penalties will result in a greater fine – 50 BCA.
