Ice sports and trading facilities complex to be built in Tashkent
Measures will be taken to organize construction of ice sports and a modern trade and service complex in Tashkent.
The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to organize the construction of ice sports and a modern trade and service complex in Tashkent” has been posted for discussion.
The proposal of the Tashkent city administration, the Agency for State Assets Management and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports on directly selling buildings and structures of Uzkurgazmasavdo LLC to the New Universal Development LLC at “zero” purchase rate may be approved. The project for the construction of a modern ice palace, designed for holding competitions on winter sports (figure skating, short-track, curling and other types of sports) and organization of exhibitions, forums, as well as a trade complex, service and education facilities will be implemented instead of them.
It is noted that the construction of a modern ice palace, designed for holding competitions on winter sports (figure skating, short-track, curling and other types of sports) and organization of exhibitions and forums, should be completed until September 1, 2020, and the construction of modern trade and service, education facilities – by July 1, 2021.
