Coronavirus: Uzbekistan temporarily bans holding weddings and other mass family events
On March 20, Tashkent hosted the next meeting of the special republican commission to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, it became known that from March 23, weddings, funerals and other mass family events, where people gather together, will be temporarily banned.
The above rule applies to events in which 10-15 people participate.
In addition, from March 21, the activity of public catering places (teahouse, canteens, etc.) will be suspended. However, they will be allowed to provide home delivery services.
It should be recalled that earlier Uzbekistan announced the suspension of the activities of massage parlors, night clubs and children’s playrooms.
