Tashkent city administration says there will be no food shortage

“It is known that from March 30, entry and exit, as well as movement in the city of Tashkent is allowed only for cars with special permission. But this does not mean that the city will not import food and agricultural products. Nevertheless, there were queues in the markets after the announcement of the above restriction. And this contradicts quarantine requirements as it creates crowds in places - people are coming in droves to buy agricultural products,” the khokimiyat noted.

The press service said that there are enough agricultural products in stock, and the delivery of these products to markets and stores will be carried out on a regular basis.

“Go out into the street only when it is extremely necessary, keep distance with people, follow the rules of sanitation and hygiene, thereby preserving your health and the health of your loved ones,” the press service concluded.
