Interior Ministry: 32 thousand cases of violation of quarantine rules registered
Since the announcement of quarantine in Uzbekistan, 32,649 violation cases of quarantine regime have been identified, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Number of cases identified by region:
- the city of Tashkent – 5,284 cases;
- Fergana region – 4,088 cases;
- Tashkent region - 3,910 cases;
- Samarkand region – 3,194 cases;
- Kashkadarya region – 2,877 cases;
- Namangan region – 2,171 cases;
- Syrdarya region – 2,161 cases;
- Andijan region – 1,781 cases;
- Jizzakh region – 1,613 cases;
- Surkhandarya region – 1,533 cases;
- Khorezm region – 1,330 cases;
- Bukhara region – 1,320 cases;
- The Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1,042 cases;
- Navoi region - 345 cases.
Starting from April 6, in the city of Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers, a mandatory self-isolation regime has been announced. Under this regime, citizens are strictly forbidden to go outside unless it is extremely necessary.
