Separate decision of the commission is needed to bring back Uzbek citizens from abroad – MFA
The Special Republican Commission will make a separate decision on organizing charter flights for bringing back citizens of Uzbekistan from abroad, the MFA press service said.
It should be reminded that all previously introduced restrictive measures aimed at countering the spread of coronavirus infection were extended by the Special Republican Commission until May 10.
Also, the validity period of visas issued to foreign citizens was automatically extended until June 1. In addition, citizens of countries entitled to enter without a visa for a certain period of time (in case of violation of the established period) will, as an exception, be allowed to leave Uzbekistan before June 1 of the current year.
“At the same time, we want to note that the Special Republican Commission will make a separate decision on organizing charter flights for bringing back citizens of Uzbekistan from abroad. Information on the specified decision of the Special Commission, as well as the date and directions of charter flights, will be made public through official websites of relevant government organizations additionally,” the report said.
