Otabekov says Uzbekistan does not acknowledge documents issued abroad on absence of coronavirus
Uzbekistan does not recognize documents issued abroad on the absence of coronavirus. This was stated by the chief state sanitary inspector Nurmat Otabekov.
“Evidence and certificates of illness issued abroad are not recognized. Anyone can become infected with this disease after an examination or on the way to their homeland,” he said during a briefing.
According to him, four types of test systems are currently used in Uzbekistan. “These are test systems developed in China (two types), Russia and Germany. Their sensitivity level is 100%,” Otabekov noted.
As of 21:00, May 11, the number of coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 2,482. 1,988 people have completely recovered from the disease, 10 patients died.
